This role reports to the Director of Product Marketing under the Demand team, and will work very closely with all the Careem Plus cross functional teams. The Careem Plus team is a small, agile team driven to have an outsized impact by working collaboratively with several functions and markets. The role has a high level of autonomy to operate in conjunction with the product, growth, marketing operations, analytics and creative teams.
Job Responsibilities:
- Own & define the Careem Plus sub-brand positioning: differentiated value proposition, and sub-brand strategy
- Guide the Brand team on building the Careem Plus sub-brand guidelines (visual guidelines, value props messaging direction etc.)
- Develop the marketing communication strategy addressing key gaps and growth opportunities in each market
- Lead the new city launches and build Go To Market plans: calendar, channels, targets, messages, creatives etc, guiding the local marketing team hand ons
- Run the year long marketing initiatives that will enable the business priorities across verticals & markets & channels
- Build the Careem Plus central campaigns, new feature launch communications
- Provide direction on the Digital strategy and creatives
- Provide guidance on the Customer segmentation strategy and integrating Careem Plus in the user journeys
- Evolve and improve the performance of the comms, channels and product touch points driven by experiments and results
- Work closely with product teams to
- Optimize the customer funnel (discovery, conversion)
- Define new growth levers on product touchpoints that require development (upsell touchpoints, referrals, service carousels etc.)
- Drive the visual identity for properties within the mini apps, triggered comms like emails
- Develop a communication calendar for key Careem Plus features as they are launched
- Develop the partner marketing strategy for Careem Plus partners
- Develop a communication calendar for key Careem Plus partners as they join
- Build offline marketing strategy to leverage BTL advertising across partner venues
Job Requirements:
- Must have worked on a subscriptions based product or on partnerships
- Ability to develop and articulate highly successful and innovative marketing solutions and communicate a compelling vision
- Ability to work in a complex operational environment and manage multiple stakeholders, markets and tasks with tight deadlines
- Ability to build processes and scale fast to work efficiently and effectively with multiple stakeholders (both internal and external)
- People leader with excellent communication and influential skills
- Customer-centric approach: ability to make decision based on user insights
- Arabic language and experience on Saudi market is preferred
Qualification & Experience:
- Educated to BS/MS level (or equivalent) within a subject relevant to the position such as Marketing.
- Must have min 8 years of marketing experience – Preferably in a tech company.
