Job Description:

To assist the Chief Steward in the smooth operation of the Stewarding Department and help maintain a safe working and positive working environment and keep the highest standards of sanitation, while supervising the Stewarding team and their operation.

Job Responsibilities:

• Daily walkthrough of stewarding areas to observe staffing leels, quality control, maintenance and cleanliness
• Check BEO’s – see what set ups are needed to be done on shift
• Assist in re-assigning colleagues during shift to areas of need .
• Ensuring proper pass off to other leaders using logbook
• Assist in controlling stocks for daily use in the department (cleaning products, mop heads, etc).

Job Requirements:

• Strong knowledge in maximizing labor efficiency and maintenance of budget labor cost.
• Previous experience as Stewarding Supervisor in a luxury property preferred
• Knowledge in highest standards of sanitation and safe working conditions.
• Strong communication and guest interaction skills, problem solving
