Job Description:

This is educational and technical support role that ensures optimal functioning of the educational tools and technologies within the advanced clinical simulation center. It requires broad knowledge of clinical simulation as a teaching technique, and expertise in simulation operations including preparation, maintenance and repair of complex computerized, high-fidelity manikins and associated software, medical equipment , and the efficient operation of the Audio-Visual systems, related multimedia peripherals, and validating data collected during simulation scenarios.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure preparation and storage areas are maintained in a clean, safe and orderly manner and comply with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain documents, records, warranty, maintenance and regular update schedules of various systems and software in support of simulation center operations.
• Provide general technical support and troubleshooting for the audiovisual system.
• Provide pre-briefing and/or orientation to the learning environment to learners, faculty, and visitors using medical terminology.
• Set up, operate, and store audiovisual equipment and data.
• Support simulation instructors in the use of instructional media and equipment.

Qualification & Experience:

• An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of relevant professional experience.
