Job Description:

Aldar develops exciting and innovative projects, such as the internationally recognized HQ building situated in the Al Raha Beach development, the Gate Towers in Shams Abu Dhabi on Al Reem Island, in addition to Yas Island’s F1 circuit. Assist in establishing relationship with Government authorities to ensure that all necessary permits and licenses for the development’s projects are obtained in a timely manner

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist and oversee the processing of all required project developments and construction permits through external government agencies, and follow-up on the reviews and comments of approving agencies.
• Ensure close coordination with project teams as required to secure permits from Abu Dhabi Municipality and other authorities (e.g., food control, civil defense, civil aviation) and review required documentation.
• Coordinate with project teams as necessary to assure that all ongoing project development and construction projects are conducted in line with the licenses and permits obtained.
• Monitor related government laws and regulations affecting the development of the different projects and highlight any changes or amendments that might affect it
• Ensure that all required permits are obtained in a timely manner to prevent any delays in the project delivery schedule
• Assist Infrastructure and Transportation teams (and Master Planning team) in securing all required approvals and licenses.

Job Requirements:

• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
• Excellent oral and written English and Arabic
• Excellent problem solving and decision making skills
• Excellent planning and organization skills

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor degree in public policy, government, public administration, preferably with engineering qualification.
• Min of: 6+ years of experience in government relations or public policy
• Strong knowledge of construction-related policies and permits application processes
• Strong network of key Government entities representatives
