Job Description:

Technical Manager is responsible for providing engineering, technical and product support to the Projects Team and Sales groups across the region with the aim to ensure best valued engineered solutions, standardization and quality outcomes are achieved. The role is responsible for driving engineering & technical excellence on all UC, contact centers and conferencing Projects with best practice engineering discipline into the process whilst ensuring compliance with agreed procedures and methodology.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide technical consultation and validation for Customers on technical system design
• Facilitate feedback from engineers to appropriate owners on operational and product issues
• Conduct Technical Risk Reviews where required in Sales Approval process
• Effectively meet customer’s needs, build productive customer relationships and take responsibility for customer satisfaction with regard to the delivered technology solutions
• Implementation, Advocacy and ongoing Auditing of the standard Engineering Methodology, processes and tools
• Provide input and feedback into the Engineering & Technical Team as and when required
• Assist with Sales and Product Management support for customer and product demo’s & technical submission

Job Requirements:

• Strong knowledge and understanding of ARC’s product (NEC, Alcatel other Telephony system, etc.) offerings and solutions
• A proven track record of delivery and success in the areas of problem-solving
• Ability to think strategically in identifying future trends and applying process improvement tools to solve business problems
• Engineering leadership experience
• Effective interpersonal skills to develop good working relationships between sales and operations to ensure the lowest cost, lowest risk, and best value-engineered solutions
• Experience in pre-sales, solution design and implementation of voice solution
