Job Description:
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage real estate and macro-economic databases, including undertaking data collection (primary & secondary), sourcing data, inputting, analysis, charting, etc.
- Explore and support ‘Big Data’ initiatives, including involvement in new use-cases for mobile GPS and application data, GIS and other AI applications
- Source and disseminate macro-economic, real estate and other third-party reports
- Network building, establishing contacts to assist in research / ad-hoc data requestsstems/ Technology
- Support preparation of periodical reports (Real Estate, VC and PropTech), including sourcing data, analysis, charting, report writing, etc.
- Report and presentation preparation, including developing macro and market analysis for project business plans and other strategic documentation
- Collate proprietary asset & sector level data in conjunction with internal teams (rents, occupancy, supply, footfall, etc.)
- Support with ad-hoc data requests (project analysis, business planning inputs, benchmarking, international comparisons, etc.)
- Support government stakeholder management and data sharing initiatives
- Identify resources for knowledge development (webinars, conferences, podcasts, etc.)
Job Requirements:
- Strong analytical skills, excellent understanding of Excel and knowledge of data and statistics, with good attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills – especially around data, as well as project and process management
- Ability to problem solve, take initiative and work independently
- Excellent communication and presentation skills and a good command of PPT
- Ability to lead multi-disciplinary initiatives and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree / other advanced degree required; preferably majoring in Real Estate, Urban Economics, Business Studies, Economics, or similar
- 3+ years of experience in a similar research role preferred (ideally for a global real estate consultancy, management consultancy or real estate developer)
