Job Description:

At Amazon we strive to be the most customer-centric company on earth. We are currently looking for a highly analytical and forward-thinking Financial Analyst to join our Consumer Finance FP&A team in MENA.

The role will be part of the MENA Consumer Financial Planning and Analysis team. You will partner closely with finance and business stakeholders, in UAE KSA & Egypt, and with our Corp FP&A team in global HQ (in Seattle) to provide timely analysis and insights. You will be primarily responsible for controllership, reporting and planning activities, and also have a focus on identifying and driving cost reduction opportunities. You will lead variance analysis for monthly/quarterly business reviews as well as partner with our Tech and Business Intelligence teams to support key business decisions, execute ad-hoc projects, and provide insights as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide timely and insightful reporting of financial results
  Support financial review processes including monthly financial and quarterly business reviews, planning, forecasting, and ad hoc analytics
  Work with data source providers to ensure that data is accurate, automated and timely available
  Drive continual standardization and streamlining of planning and forecasting processes
  Develop tools to drive better understanding of MENA performance and metric trends

Job Requirements:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exhibits high degree of discretion and confidentiality
• Ability to spot issues and escalate to business partners when appropriate
• Computer operating and database management skills
• MS Office experience and ability to use MS Excel and Access for reporting and case management
• Customer service orientation with ability to serve multiple customers (candidates, hiring managers, recruiters, HR business partners)
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment, analytical and critical thinking skills
• Problem solver, able to troubleshoot issues independently or escalate when necessary – sense of accountability and sound personal judgment
• Proven analytical capabilities, comfortable working with large amounts of data and in developing metrics and reporting

Qualification & Experience:

• Experience in investigations case management
• Experience in HR transactional processes
