Job Description:
We expect the Regional HR Learning & Development Specialist to be a passionate customer and learner advocate, to communicate clearly and concisely in a way, which motivates others to action, to have proven capabilities in managing projects as well as to demonstrate extreme attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage, often competing, priorities. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for development, a high level of flexibility, commitment, and the ability to tackle ambiguity and process improvement. A proven record of knowledge management and familiarity with methods used in Learning Experiences Design to make learning engaging, easy to consume, time saving and relevant is beneficial. Experience in a high growth organization is a plus as is work experience in multinational and virtual environment. As safe, this role requires periodic travel.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop learning frameworks and drive content of learning initiatives through collaboration with subject matter experts and other business unit stakeholders.
- Design, create, implement and manage learning programs and initiatives that upskill HR teams to support them being successful in their roles and prepared to grow further in their development.
- Support and further develop smart and effective onboarding processes for new hires and internal transfers.
- Build relationships and engage with leadership teams, HR, talent development champions and central teams to drive program adoption and engagement, along with reporting on leadership development activities and analyze data to drive results and program effectiveness
- Develop and implement Training Needs Analysis and feedback mechanisms to drive capability development roadmap.
- Facilitating trainings in a variety of delivery modalities (virtual, hands-on/experiential, instructor led, remote classroom, synchronous/asynchronous) for a variety of audiences.
- Ensure a standard execution of onboarding and proficiency programs across different teams and geographies. Regularly report to the leadership on progress and drive plans of action.
- Manage the development and delivery of detailed product and skill training courses that fall within the onboarding experience.
- Identify, define, track and assess through impact metrics, the effectiveness of training and implement suggestions for improvement.
Job Requirements:
- Strong in business acumen and Ops HR (PxT) processes/standard work/technical skills.
- Consistent delivery on commitments – great organizational skills with exceptional follow through and attention to detail.
- Strong written, verbal communication, and synthesis skills in order to contribute to the development of learning content (i.e., write “copy”), leverage feedback from field subject-matter-experts, and coordinate multimedia development effort across team.
- In-person and virtual communication / delivery / presentation experience in front of large audiences that span several levels and roles.
- Mastery of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
- Strong analytical skills to deep dive into learning completion reports, and business metrics using tools such as PowerBi, Quicksight, CAMP, and others.
- Project management skills including planning work, managing details, keeping multiple tasks/projects on track, using time well, and delivering results. Familiarity and use of Amazon Projects, Kingpin, and other Amazon tracking tools preferred.
- Innovative and proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise integrity and sound judgment in complex and ambiguous situations.
Qualification & Experience:
- BA or BS degree in a relevant field such as Instructional Technology, Educational Technology, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience working as a member of a team to collaborate with subject matter experts to design curriculum for in-person, online, and hybrid learning delivery methods.
- Experience with eLearning content creation tools and the process in which training courses are designed.
- Experience with user research and/or UX design principles.
- Experience with data architecture between different systems and platforms (e.g., Embark, HR Central)
- Strong visual design and multi-media development skills in audio, video, and/or animation.
- Experience writing 1-to-6 page narratives and the knowledge associated with Amazon writing style and senior leader review sessions.
- Experience using learning data to inform continuous improvement.
- Experience managing cross-functional projects with a track record of delivery and impact at scale in organizations.
- Experience leading proof of concept & pilot tests across various PxT / Learning-related projects, with a measurement and communication strategy for senior leaders with subsequent informed recommendations to act upon.
