We are looking for an experienced Label Relations Manager to build and maintain strong relationships with partners in a new region. In this role, you will be a key point of contact for our labels and provide the best music experience for our listeners. You will also demonstrate thought leadership on behalf of the Label Relations team and influence strategy at a cross-functional and multi-territory level, in our quest to connect customers through music, culture and community. Label Relations own the existing music relationships with labels and distributors and contribute to driving collaborative efforts internally and externally around content launches, events, and cross-category promotions. Label Relations Managers work closely with Marketing, Content Acquisition, Operations, and International teams.

Job Responsibilities:

• Act as Amazon’s ambassador among music labels, artist agencies, and the broader artist community
• Manage relationships with music labels and artist agencies to create unique opportunities for artist-focused promotions
• Evangelize innovative new ways for labels and artists to reach their fans, driving innovation and industry education
• Monitor the competitive landscape to help inform strategic planning.
• Support in driving delivery of complex projects on behalf of the Amazon Music business in collaboration with international stakeholders

Job Requirements:

• Significant relevant work experience, ideally in music or other subscription services
• Strong language skills in both English and Arabic
• Experience in building and maintaining senior level contacts. Proven negotiating skills and influencing abilities with small and large label partners, artists, and artist managers
• Broad commercial awareness developed in a fast-moving environment.
• Evidence of the ability to consistently make good decisions through a combination of analysis, experience, and judgment.
• Strong organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management and meeting deadlines
• Extensive network across the Middle-East and North African music industry
• Knowledge of the music landscape in the Middle-East and North Africa, including music services, business models, and content restrictions.
