The role is part of the Corporate Development & Investor Relations team within the broader finance team that works closely with Careem leadership, and across all of Careem’s verticals and markets. This is a small, close knit team with a high impact mandate to enable the rapid growth of Careem. The role will report to the Senior Director of Corporate Development

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform research and due diligence on potential investment ideas with recommendations for approval
• Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to drive deal decisions
• Manage the investment process from identification to closure including due diligence
• Support with post-deal integration and / or portfolio management
• Responsible for risk monitoring and red flag reporting across investments
• Provide insights on market activity
• Responsible for all investor communication materials and documents, including presentations, quarterly and monthly reports, information memos, etc.
• Support the fundraising process and assist with development of investor roadshows
• Analyze and present financial trends, competitor behavior, shareholder issues, and anything else that could impact the business

Job Requirements:

• Worked in high-growth fast-paced firms
• Sector knowledge in the tech space
• Willingness and ability to work cross-functionally with stakeholders within Careem
• Ability to engage with senior level executives within as well as outside Careem
• Ability to understand multiple sectors, businesses and functions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Master’s preferred
• 2-4 years of professional experience
