Job Description:
The Senior Data Governance Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining the data governance framework for the organization. This includes defining policies, procedures, and standards related to data management and ensuring that they are followed consistently across the organization.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work closely with various teams and stakeholders to understand their data needs and ensure that they have access to the data they need in a timely and secure manner.
- Identify and assess data governance risks and opportunities and develop and implement appropriate controls and measures to address them.
- Define and communicate data policies, procedures, and standards across the organization, ensuring that they are understood and followed consistently.
- Develop and implement a data governance framework that aligns with the organization’s data strategy and meets relevant legal, regulatory, and industry requirements.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of the data governance framework, including tracking and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
Job Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience leading Data Governance function in organization.
- 7+ years of experience in Data Analytics similar roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree is preferred.
