Job Responsibilities:
- Carryout drafting activities based on design inputs provided by Design Engineers.
- Prepare HVA/C system layouts, D&IDs, P&IDs, detailed drawings, production /construction drawings and MTOs/ bill of quantities.
- Carryout site measurements for preparation of drawings and incorporating changes and comments.
- Liaise with other design/ drafting personnel to identify/ incorporate interfaces.
- Raise Material requisitions and Purchase Requisitions for the materials to be procured for Engineering jobs.
- Follow DDW-D and Project specific drawing and document control procedures.
- Ensure comments/ changes are properly tracked and incorporated.
- Store/ file drawings and documents in the order as per relevant procedure.
- Support procurement and fabrication/ construction activities, keep track of redline mark-ups, as built documentation etc.
- Follow the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work.
Job Requirements:
- Advanced knowledge in AutoCAD and Drafting Tools, MS Office.
- Knowledge in Drafting software’s mainly Auto CAD.
- Knowledge in MS Office such as Word and Excel.
- Knowledge in ERP software preferred.
- Knowledge and experience in Ship repair / Offshore Projects.
- Ability to read, interpret and follow method statements and procedures, specifications, drawings, and other discipline related project and engineering documentation.
Qualification & Experience:
- Above 8 years of relevant experience in drafting /modelling field.
- ITI/+2 Or Diploma in any discipline
