A landmark property for the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island Resort opened in November of 2018, the resort offers 296 rooms, suites and duplex villas facing the sea, showcasing views from either a private balcony or garden access room, with an extended patio and outdoor space. This luxury beach front resort embodies the beauty of the ocean – the stylish contemporary architecture is decorated with marine themed touches that bring the outside world to life. Home to eight dining venues, Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island Resort has plenty of dining options including an all-day dining venue, two signature restaurants, a lobby lounge and bar, a pool and beach bar and a sports lounge. Guests are welcome to explore the 400 meter public beach and three swimming pools.

An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Sports & Leisure Manager to join Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island Resort, Abu Dhabi to support the pool & beach operations, sustainability and Resort activities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise the sports and leisure activities in the absence of the Sports and Leisure Manager.
• Support and lead the Resort’s sustainability initiatives.
• Ensure that Kids Club is run to the highest standards in terms of safety and activities.
• Ensure that the lifeguards and pool/beach attendants are following all established standards and performing to the best of their potentials.
• Support monthly/yearly Pool and Beach Membership Sales.
• Monitor monthly operations to achieve maximum Revenue.
• Be accountable for Guest Satisfaction scores and drive it up to achieve the goals.
• Oversee development of activities and initiatives to generate leads by networking the local area and maximizing the opportunities for sales.
• Manage and Monitor the day to day pool and beach operations including day pass management and dealing with maintenance issues.
• Designing and promoting activities to meet customer demand and generate revenue.

Qualification & Experience:

• 2 years Experience working in Leisure Operations in a managerial position
• Educated to level of Internationally recognized Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree / Post Graduate Diploma.
