Job Description:

Dubai Holding Entertainment currently has an exciting career opportunity within our Assets in the corporate team. We are looking to hire a Senior Manager – Platforms, who will be responsible for the delivery of IT Application Platform services through internal teams, third parties & Technology. You will be responsible for shaping the end to end strategy for DHE’s IT Application Platform services. You will create the group wide strategy and roadmap that supports a number of change initiatives and service transformation towards delivery of end-to-end Application Platform services, cloud migration and enabling digital customer and employee experiences through managing and operating a group wide scalable, efficient, secure and digital IT Applications Platforms infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities:

• Accountable for overall budgets and costs for running and managing centralized IT application platforms.
• Leads consolidation and delivery of Business Applications and common shared services across the group.
• Ensures reliability and stability of services by establishing, implementing, and automating processes which maintain uptime, introduce new services quickly and with minimal interruptions, and recover services rapidly while minimizing negative customer impact if and when they go down.
• Proactively measures and monitors systems to prevent technology downtimes and liaise with business verticals to solicit feedback to continuously improve outcomes.
• Ensures that these are highly scalable, efficient, secure, and digital enabling platforms.
• Ensures that the group is driving automation and lean processes into the delivery of platform services.
• Leads transformation of common IT applications used across the group into a set of Platform Services and drive further adoption of cloud for these services.
• Leads creation of application platform user communities across the group to co-define multi-year roadmaps for each of the application
• platforms, promote collaboration and knowledge sharing and influence senior executives across the group on the overall strategy for application platforms.
• Interacts with executive level business leaders to set the vision, strategy, and leadership for IT application platform (ERP included) consolidation, transformation, and service management.
• Initiates service improvement plans and strategies to improve reliability, add value and decrease costs.
• Develops a communications framework and approach to ensure all aspects of technology service portfolio performance is being communicated and socialized within all stakeholder communities.
• Review and analyze existing applications’ effectiveness and efficiency, and develop strategies for improving or leveraging these systems
• Design, develop, and implement enhancements and upgrades to systems and application software

Job Requirements:

• Application and Infrastructure service delivery, with some combination of digital solutions such as cloud, infrastructure, and workplace services.
• P&L leadership experience.
• Demonstrated experience driving digital service transformation through innovation and the implementation of technology.
• Solid knowledge in emerging technologies, and the ability to apply these in the service of the company’s key business goals.
• Experience leading complex, major change initiatives; demonstrated skills in change management.
• An entrepreneurial mindset; able and interested to pursue new business opportunities.

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; MBA preferred; recent technology certifications
• 8+ years of progressive technical and relevant leadership practice
• Experience as a Head of ERP and Shared Services / Head of ERP Transformation or equivalent position in a global environment.
• Experience working with specialty technical and functional support systems, frameworks, and functionality.
• Experience in supplier management, contracts management and managing services provided by 3rd party suppliers.
• Experience in a federated structure with matrix leadership responsibilities.
• Experience as a Head of Service Management / Application Platforms Management / Infrastructure Management / Workplace Services or equivalent position in a global environment.
• Experience leading and driving towards cloud based, automated service delivery and management embedding simplification, agility, and customer experience.
