Job Description:
The purpose of the role is to carryout preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance on fibre optics and copper cabling networks equipment and systems, individually or as part of a technical team, within a designated area whilst ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Job Requirements:
- Acts a role model for tradesman and helpers and leads the team by example with consistent attention to detail and quality by demonstrating a “get it right first time every time” attitude to the job.
- Knowledge in the use & interpretation of Local and International Electrical Standards and Regulations.
- Ability to raise & complete PMS fault report sheets, daily utilization reports and CMMS work orders.
- Ability to adopt a logical or methodical approach to troubleshooting & fault finding on LV systems.
Qualification & Experience:
- Holding of valid UAE driving license is desirable
- Must have Industrial Training Institute Diploma (3-year duration) in structured cabling installation and maintenance or equivalent (post high school).
- Must have minimum six (6) years’ experience within a structured cabling installation and / or maintenance environment.
