Job Description:

The LSS Program Manager is responsible for leading and executing Lean Six Sigma (LSS) initiatives by designing and conducting training programs for Green Belt, Yellow Belt and White Belt. Engaging with senior leaders across the enterprise to identify and scope Lean-related business challenges.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the successful delivery of Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Green/Yellow/White Belt training programs for employees and support them in developing projects and delivering results that meet metrics related to annualised savings defined by the program.
  • Design and develop programs and curriculum, partner with internal subject matter experts and/or external vendors to achieve defined training, learning and development objectives.
  • Mentor and coach Green Belts on Lean Six Sigma skills and support business in an advisory role in LEAN initiatives, recognising when there are obstacles preventing LSS candidates from achieving their goals and readily supports by intervening and finding resourceful ways to remove them.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses, including data collection, data analyses, and synthesis of data to generate key insights for projects or Lean deployment strategies as the Lean Six Sigma transformation is embedded across the organisation.
  • Generate insights based on tools including data analytics, stakeholder interviews, desktop research, discussions with Lean experts, focus groups, and surveys to lead, support and embed LEAN principles via the LEAN Transformation program
  • Be a key driver for change within the business leading LEAN change management engagements for end to end Projects including management of LEAN transformation from current to desired future state and ongoing benefits realization
  • Develop reports for Leadership levels across the organisation that quantify impact of projects on financials, productivity, stakeholder experience and compliance
  • Lead, manage, mentor, coach and develop the team. Foster an inspiring, motivating and highly engaging environment where people are self-motivated, passionate to learn new skills and further enhance their skills and capabilities. Provide performance feedback to team members to achieve the individual and department goals and objectives.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in change management, stakeholder management, and influencing people without authority
  • Experience in managing Lean Six Sigma projects and driving results
  • Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, presentation and organization skills;
  • Ability to communication with all levels of staff, management, and senior leadership
  • Highly motivated to take ownership and drive initiatives with minimal direction
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams
  • Capacity to think strategically and innovatively
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Project, PowerPoint

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management/Administration/Industrial Engineering
  • Minimum accredited Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
  • Minimum 5 years proven continuous improvement analytical experience from a similar role, including project management and business analysis
  • Experience in strategic planning, risk management and/or change management
  • Experience with Minitab Statistical Software and/or Quality Companion Project Management tools
  • Experience designing and implementing training programs, including electronic training, is a plus.
