Job Description:

As a Technology Experience Specialist you will work across a wide variety of products from concept to delivery, collaborating with a team of Technical Product Owners, Architects and Developers to create compelling and creative user experiences that delights users and fulfils the business needs & objectives. They help ensure all Technology solutions are fit for purpose, improve end user productivity and are easy & enjoyable to use. The Technology Experience Specialist ensure all experience designs are informed by industry standards, best practices and rigorous user testing. You will have expert knowledge of visual design software and wire-framing tools such as Adobe Suite, Sketch and Invision.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work with a team of cross functional experts to deliver design concepts, visual prototypes and conduct exploration workshops.
• Drive adoption of the Experience Design playbook across the broader teams of Technical Product Management, Architecture and Development
• Act as an advocate of the product to the users, imparting insight on the product’s value and usability.
• Leverage practice thinking to help continuously improve tools and methods that go into the continuous improvement of the experience design playbook.
• Deliver the user experience of a number of internal products from the creation of design concepts to the final launch of the product as well as post-launch monitoring and analysis.
• Work with team specialists to drive the practice of research and analysis and subsequent incorporation into the overall experience design principles.
• Participate in, and help facilitate, design thinking workshops and training sessions.
• Work with specialists to ensure all products have baseline usability measures that serve as a guidance for future improvement and recommendations.

Job Requirements:

• A positive attitude and an ability to drive discernible change and delivery, at pace, in a pressurised environment. Build strong relationships with peers and team members.
• Expert knowledge of software that supports visually engaging design e.g. Adobe Suite, Sketch, Invision, Zeplin.
• Agile and innovative mind-set with the tenacity to adapt and thrive in a constantly changing environment.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly, interactively, and persuasively to all audiences.

Qualification & Experience:

• Experience in leading small to medium sized design projects, both independently and as part of a team.
• You’ll be experienced in both UX and UI design and have experience working across a variety of digital channels.
• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years’ experience in User Experience Design and/or Interactive Design
• Experience in facilitating design thinking workshops and storytelling.
