Job Description:

In the role of Innovation Specialist (UAE National) you will work alongside internal IT teams, business stakeholders and external partners to gather ideas to response to business technology innovation needs thereby increasing speed, agility and faster turnaround.

Job Responsibilities:

• You will on-board new start-ups/founders and manage our database of start-ups/founders
• You will coordinate with partners, suppliers and business units on event requirements and logistics.
• You will develop the annual events calendar and coordinating strategic events positioning the Innovation Hub as a key player in the start-up ecosystem.
• Drive a positive change in Innovation Culture and identify opportunities to develop employee crowdsourcing of innovation ideas including the redefinition of the Ideas Hub & Hackathon platform or a similar platform to promote employee engagement and a culture of innovation.
• Conduct research on innovation ecosystem and contribute to potential projects to stakeholders.
• Deliver and execute the innovation workshops, trainings and presentations.
• Development of training workshop material for external and internal programs.
• Organise and coordinate the necessary internal IT and business forums for innovation.
• As our Scouting focused Innovation Specialist you will research and identify upcoming impact technology areas relevant to the focus areas identified by the innovation strategy.
• You will generate leads of new start-ups/founders to join our ecosystem.
• As our EXPO Innovation Hub Specialist you will run our Innovation Hub, at Expo City, as a whole; by coordinating the Hub’s content display and managing the space and visitors.

Job Requirements:

• This position is for a UAE National holding a Khulasat Al Qaid (Family Book)
• High level understanding of technology
• High level understanding of aviation, travel or tourism industry

Qualification & Experience:

• Experience within technology innovation or related field
• Degree in Degree in a subject relevant to management, Technology or Innovation plus 5 years of experience.
