Job Description:

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior IT professional to join the Emirates Group as Vice President IT Capability. The person in this role will lead the development of IT capabilities as it pertains to establishing an ecosystem of strategic partnerships, driving a workforce strategy to support the technology needs of the Emirates Group and ensuring an effective IT operations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Define, execute and manage a 3 year IT organisation development and workforce planning strategy, lead the development and implementation of a IT people engagement strategy, aligned with HR policies and practices and drive the development of IT skills and capabilities through the management of the IT skills academy and the development of the UAE National programme.
• Ensure all IT department demands i.e People,cost..etc are met so the vertical pillars can operate, overseeing the functions that govern the areas of technology business management, IT performance, IT space management, commercial and contract management, IT administration services and complex billing.
• Drive the development of an ecosystem of strategic partners that enables the delivery of innovative, cost effective and high quality business solutions and services.
• Develop and lead the IT partner and supplier strategy for Emirates Group managing all aspects of the supplier lifecycle to ensure partners deliver to strategic goals.
• Directly manage all external audits conducted on IT for Emirates Group and have direct accountability for maintaining regulatory compliance and quality assurance for Emirates Group with respect to IT to international standards.

Job Requirements:

• Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent)
• Experience in workforce planning and management for large IT organisation
• Information Technology.Other : 12+ Years
• Experience in varied IT functions at a senior level in a large multinational corporate company, ideally in the travel/transportation industry
• Post Graduate Qualification preferred i.e. MBA with specialism in strategy development and execution
• Experience in developing strategic partnerships
