Job Description:
The Data Platform team is an enterprise data team that harvests data from internal and external data sources and publishes data to consumers both in batch and near realtime patterns eg operational and analytical users of data The Enterprise Data Platform team is an enabler to key functional areas eg Analytics Digital Compliance Risk and Marketing
The primarily responsibility of a realtime streaming data engineer is to design develop and deployment high performant complex event processing realtime data pipelines using technologies like JavaBeamFlinkKafka and containerize them on our internal cloud running on RedHatOpenShift
Job Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of Transaction Monitoring FATCA and CRS alerts system
- Basic knowledge of AML typologies
- Strong knowledge on reducing false positives for AMLCFT alerts
- Strong knowledge on improving quality of AMLCFT alerts
- Basic knowledge of compliance monitoring and screening system
- Understanding of banking products and operations
- Understanding of compliance products and processes
Job Requirements:
- Agile working practices
- Experience of working with Real TimeStreaming data
- Ability to Execute BEAM pipelines on Apache FLINK Runner
- Experience of working on Beam SDK
- Knowledge of Microservices using JAVA
- Experience of using Spark Streaming
- Experience of working with SQL and NOSQL Databases
- Experience of topic setting using KafkaConfluent
- Should have excellent problemsolving and time management skills
- Strong analytical thinking skills
- Work collaboratively as part of a team
- Clear and demonstrative communication
- Drive Innovation and continuous improvement
- Self learner continues to update their skills and knowledge base
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor or Post graduate in Computer Science or related fieldor equivalent industry experience
- Minimum 7 years of development and design experience in JavaScalaPython with Flink Beamor similar streaming toolset and Kafka
- Experience of Microservices using Java and Kafka
