Fakeeh University Hospital Careers – Radiology Manager

Job Responsibilities:

• Provides regular updates to the staffs and the Radiation Committee on regulations and guidelines as released through the DHA and Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation (FANR).
• Reviews and updates as required, all radiation safety policies.
• Monitors regularly the individual staff dosimeters.
• Monitors and logs the serviceability of all radiation units in the department and reports faults to the biomedical team in a timely way.
• Is the co-chair of the Radiation Safety Committee
• Oversee the technical operations of the imaging department.
• Maintain duty rosters for radiology and admin support staffs and ensure optimal staff deployment on a daily basis.
• Have detailed technical knowledge of all imaging modalities and be able to troubleshoot challenges as they arise.
• Perform the role of Radiation Protection Officer and ensure optimal clinical care and safety of staffs and patients with respect to exposure to radiation.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team with a personalised and caring attitude.
• Participate in public health awareness initiatives and in training programs as required.

Job Requirements:

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor’s
• Master’s in Radiology
• Minimum 5 years post-graduate experience in all imaging modalities and specialist skills in CT or MRI
  Previous managerial role for a minimum of one year.
