Job Description:
This position will initially focus on the implementation of Professional Development Standards for Trainers, including developing and facilitating formal and informal assessments. Additionally the aim of this position is to ensure the effective implementation of Learning and Development standards including maintaining and enhancing standards, and proposing process improvements with the aim of achieving international best practice guidelines for all Group Learning and Development practices.
Job Responsibilities:
- Create monthly / yearly statistical and written reports as required.
- Execute approved Annual Training Plans for staff and external client
- Gives work direction to Learning and Development Assistant, if any.
- Support Head of department to effectively implement Performance Management System
- Review requests for unplanned training (outside the training schedule) for relevance, urgency and availability of budget for the requested training and communicate to the requester of the outcome.
- Potentially leading and training staff who performing related work.
- Assisting in analyzing and assessing training and development needs for individuals, departments, and/or external organizations
- Participate in strategic planning of training related tasks
- Identify and escalate process improvements. Analyze existing systems and prepare recommendations and objectives for study and approval. Compile findings, data, forms, etc., and analyze results to determine advantages of systems revisions.
- Develop processes and solutions for blended training methods (OJT etc.)
- Performs other related duties, as directed by Head of Learning and Development
- Liaising between L&D and various internal/external units, to ensure smooth execution of training activities
Qualification & Experience:
- Experience in delivery of standardized Learning & Development interventions & cycle.
- Experience in a learning and Development role with experience in project management, trainer development or equivalent.
- 7 years’ experience in Training, designing and implementing training programs, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. UAE experience preferred.
- Bachelors in Human Resources Management/ Personnel Administration or equivalent years of experience.
- Experience of trainer assessment and evaluation of training programs.
