Job Description:
As a PRO/ Accommodation Supervisor, you will support the Human Resources Department by ensuring the upkeep and cleanliness of the entire Team Accommodation. As well as, you are responsible for managing visa administration to deliver an excellent team member experience. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain good relations and visits to the owning company, immigration, health department, ministry of information, traffic police as well as all government departments and ministries
- Responsible for all applications of visas and cancellations and deal directly with immigration department for visa matters for team members, management and their families
- Organize/Facilitate appointments for the Emirates ID card for team members
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Human Resources Manager/Director
- Provides assistance in obtaining visas for travelling key personnel
- Provides assistance on police and court cases, immigration and labor issues and other related matters
- Maintains all hotel personnel records and Human Resources files to ensure confidentiality where necessary
- Make sure all hotel licenses are applied in timely manner and up to date
- Keep records of passports and visa expiry dates, inform team members in advance of passport expiry dates and extend/renew visas prior to expiry dates
- Ensures that all food handlers are having occupational health cards and ensures that expiring cards are renewed on time
Job Requirements:
- Ensure cleanliness of Apartment/room for the above purposes
- Schedule and supervise deep cleaning and any other projects related
- Handover keys and apartment/rooms inventory upon check in and take handover for the same upon check out.
- Comply with the hotel standards in relation to hygiene and personal presentation
- Allocate rooms to new team members with the HR Head as per Recruitment plan
- To report any maintenance requirements to the HR Head
- Perform routine inspections of all check out rooms and spot checks of all occupied apartments/ rooms for the Team accomdoation
- Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by the HR Head
- Ensure the adherence to hotel brand standards at all times
- Inspect, routinely, service areas, store rooms and corridors
- Carry out the fire, safety and evacuation procedures as required by the Hotel Fire Policy
- To ensure that working areas are free from blockages, rubbish etc.
- Welcome team members at the Airport/accommodation to escort them to their allocated rooms
- Comply with the hotel’s health, safety and hygiene policy
- Report and follow up on any maintenance defects or other issues
Qualification & Experience:
- A successful track record of managing a team
- Previous experience in a PRO/ Accommodation role
- Preferable canddiates who are familiar with Sharjah legislations and regulations
- An attention to details
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency, preferred, with computers and computer programs, including Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational and analytic skills
- A passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service
