Job Description:
A Graphic Designer & Marketing Executive for Conrad Dubai will work with the Director of Marketing & Communication to execute all marketing communications materials in accordance to Conrad’s visual style guidelines to ensure brand compliance and consistency.
The Graphic Designer & Marketing Executive for Conrad Dubai translates marketing content into a conceptual visual framework for the hotel’s offline and digital communications platforms such as website, mobile applications, social media channels, advertising, collateral, etc. using a mix of creative skills and commercial awareness.
Job Responsibilities:
- Adaptation of existing artwork to ensure the visual look and feel is consistent.
- Thinking creatively and producing new ideas in creative concepts.
- Update of menus and design adaptations to meet the needs of the business.
- Assist in carrying out tasks of the department from start till the end including presentations, collaterals and other requirements of the job in hand
- Work within agreed standards and guidelines for all brand communications to ensure consistency and level of quality and objectives are achieved.
- Present finalised design concepts in a professional manner visually.
- Conscientious, reliable and self-motivated and be able to fulfill demands with minimal supervision
- Interpret master concepts and develop design deliverables in line with it.
- Respond to jobs and turn around the tasks in a timely manner ensuring deadlines are met
- Working with a wide range of media, including photography, design, web design.
- Master artwork adaptation to apply to different deliverables for campaigns.
- Handling all internal photo shooting request, mainly for F&B, Conference & events and special events for PR coverage
- Updating of all collaterals in English and Arabic languages.
- Perform related tasks and duties as assigned and deemed responsible by the management
- Photography and image sourcing for new creative concepts.
- Set up and maintain a well organised library for all image files
- Develop and maintain a marketing artwork archive for all artwork files.
Job Requirements:
- Proficiency with all prevalent MS Office, Adobe and any kind of design programs
- Contributing ideas and design artwork to the overall brief.
- Results-driven accountability for all graphic design efforts, which are tracked and evaluated
- Using a wide range of media, including photography and computer aided design.
- Formal training in graphic design, a university degree or equivalent experience in that field
- Planning and budget setting abilities
- It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- Excellent English writing skills and oral proficiency
- Well organized and capable of working quickly and handling many projects and job functions at once
- Able to communicate well with all levels of management, staff, business community
- Travel, hospitality or luxury goods background preferred
- Ability to work under pressure
- Keeping abreast of developments in IT, particularly design programs
- Knowledge of production methods in graphic arts, printing, film, radio and television.
- Using innovation to redefine a design brief and meet the constraints of cost and time.
- Producing accurate and high quality work.
- Previous Marketing experience in a similar environment
- Portfolio of quality design samples, projects, campaigns, etc.
- Arabic communication skills
- Basic knowledge of budgeting or cost-management
- Thinking creatively to produce new ideas.
- Perform all technical/procedural requirements of the job
Qualification & Experience:
- Relevant degree, in marketing, business development or other relevant business field, from an academic institution
- Three years minimum experience in graphic design
