The Pricing Sr. Manager role reports to the Middle East PMT VP GM and matrix into the global PMT pricing organization, features close partnership with the different SBU’s/LOB’s regional business leaders, marketing, sales and offering teams to drive key targets in AOP around value pricing, pass-thru, and transactional pricing actions and margin optimization. This leader will also work cross-functionally to provide monthly reporting and price administration; as well as work closely with pricing and IT team members to implement and improve Deal Desk analytics and performance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing a Deal Desk to enforce policies related to discount control.
- Participate in weekly Price Pulse meetings to keep the team aligned on pricing performance and ongoing needs.
- Active monitoring of discounting trends to identify and drive opportunities for improved discounting behaviors. (Tactical)
- Work with Offering Management to ensure HON’s product list prices are aligned to the competitive value they provide in the marketplace. (Value)
- Develop a thorough understanding of different systems to leverage them for price analysis and reporting.
- Collect, analyze, and report monthly actual & FY forecast price reporting versus AOP and other established goals.
- Identify Lead and lag indicators to achieve the overall business plan, define RAIL and MOS to track effectiveness.
- Build relationships and trust to influence stakeholders into making impactful decisions regarding products and pricing strategies.
- Create and maintain analytics for evaluating deals within the Deal Desk.
- Become the “Voice of Pricing” within PMT ME region and coach the sales organization on the importance and impact of pricing on the business.
- Challenge status quo and improvise processes, methodologies; with periodic reporting to senior leadership on program status.
- Develop and implement Price Measurement methodologies in agreement with Global pricing team, Finance, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor and provide measurement of the new process or tool’s user adoption rate and monetary impact on operations and/or price realization improvement.
- Challenge data and metrics with the change in business practices, support the LOB and regional Leaders with actionable vital metrics.
- ross-Functional Leadership to ensure labor and material costs are known in a timely manner to drive strategic pricing actions throughout the year. (Pass-Thru)
- Engage with Finance, LOB leaders, and regional Teams to gain alignment on the Pricing plan.
Job Requirements:
- Highly desire SAP, PROS, and Tableau software experience.
- Demonstrated change management skills with the ability to influence across and up in the organization.
- Ability to translate strategy to execution. Results minded with a focus on execution.
- Demonstrated ability to lead large transformational projects working with multiple functions.
- Pricing Deal Desk experience.
- Proven data analysis experience and solid grasp of pricing models & techniques.
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
- Master’s degree in Finance, Marketing or MBA.
- Certified Pricing Professional (CPP) certification from PPS.
- Min of 6 years relevant pricing or comparable quantitative experience.
