Job Responsibilities:
- To ensure that the team projects a warm, professional, and welcome image.
- Maintain a complete knowledge of cocktails , beverage and wines to advise guests and colleagues when necessary.
- Assist in the stock taking of beverages and operating equipment.
- Be familiar with property safety, first aid and fire and emergency procedures and operate equipment safely and sensibly
- Understand and strictly adhere to the Rules & Regulations established in the e Hotel’s policy on Food Safety, Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety.
- Undertake opening, closing, and cleaning task as detailed on the checklist.
- Ensure that the guest is presented with correct order and that all drinks are prepared and served as agreed to the standard operation procedure.
- Ensure that all employees establish rapport with guests. Handle all guest requests and enquiries on food, beverage and service.
- Ensure all voco bar brand standards are in place.
- Assist in the set-up of bar operating standards and train hosts in how to carry out the tasks
- Control and rotate stock FIFO System.
- Ensure that the mis-en-place of the bar are ready for service as per the requirement of the outlet before opening.
- Ensure that equipment and bar area is always kept hygienically clean and tidy and sufficient glassware is available for all levels of business.
- To be demanding and critical when it comes to service standards.
Job Requirements:
- Good practical, operational and adequate administrative skills.
- Strong leadership skills
- A naturally outgoing and friendly personality with a passion for service excellence to consistently deliver and demonstrate voco™ service standards
- A true “team-player” mentality and flexible attitude towards a diverse set of tasks
- Excellent communication skills
Qualification & Experience:
- 3 years related experience including at least 1 year in same capacity or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
