Holiday Inn & Suites Dubai Science Park, a preopening hotel, is looking for an active (Laundry Assistant) to join their extraordinary team! Ideally located in the heart of Dubai Science Park, in the most sought after residential area of Dubai. Minutes away from mega malls, magnificent Jumeirah Beaches, world’s leading tourist attractions and Parks, auto drome and over 5 championship golf courses. The Holiday Inn & Suites at Dubai Science Park will include 240 hotel rooms and suites and 84 one-bedroom apartments, anchor F&B offerings and an extensive 1026sqm cutting-edge meeting and events facilities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform additional laundry services when necessary
- Responsible for picking up and delivery of in-house guest laundry
- Responsible to collect and deliver outside guest laundry / dry cleaning.
- Responsible for delivering all guest items punctually, accurately and in a professional and courteous way
- Collect laundry and dry-cleaning bags from guest rooms and ensure that guest name, room number and laundry pieces are listed.
- Maintaining all laundry equipment and inform facilities manager as to any maintenance needs
- Count and verify all items collected as per laundry price lists/laundry sheet signed by the guest and note down any discrepancy or damages on the same sheet
Job Requirements:
- Ability to demonstrate working with and engaging teams from different cultures
- Good verbal and written communication skills along with being quality oriented with focus on details, high performance standards
Qualification & Experience:
- Ideally, you’ll have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the similar role in a four or five-star hotel
