Job Description:
Technicians with respect to the production of composite fabrication techniques, and meeting production schedules and delivery dates, while maintaining a safe working environment.
Job Requirements:
- Understanding and experience of Vacuum bagging techniques, Autoclave/Demoulding. Operations, Mould tool preparation.
- Good understanding of composite fabrication techniques.
- Understanding and experience of Manual/Automated post-cure trimming operations.
- Understanding and experience of Fabric cutting/kitting, Manual/Automated carbon fibre placement onto mould surfaces.
- Practical experience in using hand tools (knives/scissors, basic measuring equipment).
- Ability to read drawings/work instructions/specifications as required to complete a specific task.
- Hand tools or automated machines (Heat guns, scissors, blades, vac gauges)
- Ply-cutting process
- Hand tools (knives/scissors, basic measuring equipment)
- Lean manufacturing principles, concepts, processes, and industry best practices (e.g., Kaizen, six sigma, 5 S)
- 3 axis cutting machine and techniques
- Demonstrates working knowledge of
- Autoclave and its application, sterilization and calibration process
- 4 or 5 axis mills, 4 or 5 axis machining centre and/or multi-axis mill-turn CNC equipment
- Hand tools (e.g. Air sanders, Band saws and Right-angle saws)
- Core honeycomb manufacturing process
- Layup process and techniques
- Tools (air router, drills, table saw, radial arm saw, drill press, pin router)
- Demonstrates Working knowledge of
Qualification & Experience:
- Preferred Candidates with UAE / any aerospace and aviation industry experience.
- Minimum Education Background: Government recognised – Diploma / Degree in the related field. Preference to certifications in precision inspection and other related disciplines.
