Job Description:
To ensure that the property and assets are maintained in the highest order through the implementation of the “Jumeirah Engineering Management System” and through effective use of materials
Job Responsibilities:
- To monitor work requests and ensure promptness of service with particular emphasis on guest areas.
- Implementation of the Plant & Equipment planned maintenance programme.
- To liaise with specialist contractors to ensure that breakdowns are dealt with promptly and cost effectively.
- To supervise and direct colleagues in the performance of their duties.
- Implementation of the Guest Room planned maintenance programme.
- Implementation of induction, health & safety, SOP and other training programmes.
- To carry out quality assurance spot checks on colleagues work.
Job Requirements:
- The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications
- 3 years formal training (certified) in a related discipline – desired
- 1 Year formal training in a related discipline – required
- Diploma in related discipline – desired
- City and Guilds or similar qualification in related discipline – required
