Job Description:
The main purpose of this role is to manage the J Club at Jumeirah Emirates Towers, be responsible and accountable for the service, safety, and profit/loss of the business in addition to the daily management of the business.
Job Responsibilities:
- Create and develop innovative classes and programs that support the J Club brand
- Liaise with the Sales Manager to drive monthly/yearly Membership Sales – Individual & Team Performance to Budget
- To assist coordination of marketing plans to drive new memberships and retain existing members
- Membership Forms & Contracts with accurate Joining Fee Charges and Monthly dues
- Conduct regular staff meetings in the form of daily briefings, weekly and monthly meetings and maintain close communication with the colleagues.
- Ensure that each member of the club has signed a copy of the terms and conditions, disclaimer, and physical readiness questionnaire before using the facility
- Ensure that each new member of the club is put through the New Member Journey and that all club staff follows through on their responsibilities to provide on-going support.
- Oversee development of activities and initiatives to generate leads by networking the local area and maximising the opportunities for sales.
- Any other duties as may reasonably be requested by the management.
- Recruit, hire, lead, train, motivate, develop, and evaluate all colleagues
- Follow all standard operating procedures, as specified by Jumeirah and Dubai Municipality.
- Provide coaching, counselling, and discipline to colleagues to ensure their capability to meet the needs of the customer and the organization.
- Drive personal training revenue and customer service
- Designing and promoting activities to meet customer demand and generate revenue
Job Requirements:
- A customer-focused, approachable, and outgoing personality.
- The ability to relate to the requirements of customers from all age groups and sectors of society, including people with special needs.
- Management of a multi- cultural team
- Project Management
- High level of written and verbal business English
- Organised and able to prioritise and work to deadlines
- Competent in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
Qualification & Experience:
- Educated to level of Internationally recognized Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree / Post Graduate Diploma
- Experience working in the Health and Fitness industry in a 5-star Hospitality environment
