Job Description:
An opportunity has arisen for a Demi Chef de Partie to join our culinary department at SAL Beach club in Burj Al Arab.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure personalized training are provided and completed.
- Carry out instructions issued by Chef de Partie.
- Assist the Chef de Partie with shifting allocation in the section in regard to ‘Mise en place’ production and service
- Ensure the smooth running of the section in line with Jumeirah standards
- Assist the Chef de Partie with compiling the daily wine, dry store, food requisitions and kitchen transfers for approval to achieve the high stock rotation desired in his/her section
Job Requirements:
- One year experience in a five star international chain hotel
- 5 years’ experience working in a kitchen within the hospitality industry
- The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications
- 1 year experience as a kitchen apprentice or chefs training course
