Job Description:

An opportunity has arisen for a Director of Marketing and Communications to join Marsa Al Arabs preopening Team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ongoing competitor reviews and checks to identify special offers and activities done by the hotels in the competitive set.
  • Supporting the dissemination of all communications materials to media including press releases, picture stories, listings etc.
  • Provide the required marketing support to the different departments within the organisation including Corporate, GCC, Leisure and Groups Sales teams.
  • Work closely with the Digital Analysts to ensure that all marketing activity is supported with the measurement of results.
  • Track productivity of each marketing and PR activity planned and executed.

Job Requirements:

  • Local and International market media experience.
  • Lead and develop high-performance teams
  • Skill in developing and making effective presentations
  • Analytical focus w/ strong quantitative & budget mgmt skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/Public Relations, Business or equivalent from an accredited and renowned University.
  • In-depth experience of budgeting, analysis and marketing & PR strategies
  • At least 8 years of marketing & PR experience, preferably with leading hospitality brand (desirable) or high-end luxury company.
  • Sales experience
  • Operational experience in hotels/resorts or related service industry (desirable)
