Job Responsibilities:

• Be known for your creativity in finding opportunities to make Kitopi even more successful with data-driven insights and predictions
• Own and drive all aspects of a product area from product vision to delivery to adoption.
• Continuously collaborate with fellow data (science, engineering, and analytics) teams to ensure we are working towards a cohesive solution and aligned with your stakeholders’ business needs
• Partner with your data science and engineering leaders to guide projects through all phases, from formulation to deployment
• As a Data PM, you will work closely with a team of data scientists, data engineers and analysts who lead the agenda for building trusted data products at Kitopi. You will be responsible for the success of internal data products that influence decision-making and help the business drive operational or marketing efficiencies. In this role you will:
• Feel comfortable switching from talking about the advantages of using a specific machine learning solution with data scientists to how we should achieve product-market fit with senior product leadership
• Develop relationships with our business stakeholders to build empathy for their needs, inform product strategy, and ensure their lasting success
• Translate product strategy into roadmap, detailed requirements and prototypes.

Job Requirements:

• Strong communication skills; able to effectively influence a wide range of stakeholders all across the organization
• Entrepreneurial spirit focused on impact, balancing effort to value, and getting things done
• Project management skills in a matrixed enterprise environment
• Have delivered machine learning- or data-analytics-related projects as a product or technical leader
• Curious, creative, opinionated thinker, and charismatic storyteller
• Hands-on expert in analytics, comfortable with SQL, Python, and/or R

Qualification & Experience:

• Past experience as a data scientist is a plus!
• You have 5+ years of related experience
