Landmark Hotel Careers – Senior Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Description:

• Supervise and ensure expected results in the general cleanliness and orderliness of the whole Hotel.
• To implement and maintain efficient, effective and quality Rooms/public area cleaning standards. To take responsibility of the department in the absence of the Asst. housekeeper.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervises and helps in the inspection, issuance and storage of F&B and guestroom linen.
• Maintains and updates records of associates uniforms and all files pertinent to the assigned area.
• Works closely with Evening Supervisor, Day Linen attendant/Supplies and LRA/Communication.
• Keeps updated on the emergency, fire and Lost and Found procedures of the Hotel.
• Ensures that there are enough supply of rags for the floor and public area personnel’s use for each day. Sends soiled rags to Laundry.
• Attends to uniform, F&B and guestroom linens that need rewashing or re cleaning and hands these over to Laundry.
• Supervises in sorting and hanging the uniforms.
• Checks the general appearance of subordinates
• Gives the Day Floor Supervisors reports needed for the day.
• Confers with other Linen Room Supervisors assigned o mid and evening shift.
• Supervises and helps issue linen to guest floors during high occupancy.
• To ensure that all public areas cleanliness are up to the standard.
• Conducts guestroom and F&B/guestroom linen inventory. Spot checks F&B and guestroom linen.
• To attend on every trainings conducted by the hotel.
• Checks Lost and Found inquiries to see if items were returned in the day before.
• To monitor the cleanliness of all storerooms and guestroom pantry areas
• Supervises the conduct of inventories of uniforms, F&B, guestroom linens and supplies.
• Secures babysitters for guest and keeps a list of approved babysitters on hand.
• Supervises and helps in the exchange of employees’ uniforms.
• To be aware of the departmental budget for both expense and revenue.
• To ensure that general cleaning scheduled for daily, weekly and monthly in public areas are followed.
• Supervises in separating soiled uniforms in need of spotting and to Outlet Manager concerned for investigation.

Qualification & Experience:

• High school or equivalent education required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
