Job Description:

Reporting to CFO and works closely with senior management to increase company’s efficiency and profitability by assisting with the formulation of both the medium and long-term financial plan.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop financial KPIs which will be used to assess the success of both the business and the financial strategy.
  • Communicate to senior management the reasons behind the product/department performance and results.
  • Evaluating previous budgets, expenditures to develop and implement future budgets.
  • Producing models to project long term growth and determine the impacting business factors.
  • Preparing business cases to support new investment, strategic and other business decisions.
  • Work with Business Unit heads to build their annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Utilizing BI tools to delivery meaningful insights into business performance.
  • Delivery of competitor analysis, market trends and associated commentary to the Leadership team.

Job Requirements:

  • Advanced computer software skills, including writing macros in Excel and other accounting packages.
  • Strong quantitative abilities and ability to solve complex problems.

Qualification & Experience:

  •  Minimum of 8 years of relevant analytical experience.
  • Professional qualification such as CA or CPA and/or CFA and/or CIMA
  • Experience in retail is an added advantage.
