Job Description:

The Project Manager Automation Systems and Processes is responsible for identifying opportunities for design to automation to improve efficiency, conduct and manage the reengineering of business process , and controls across all MAF Retail entities across all operating countries. The role holder is also responsible for supporting the development of BOTS ensure efficiency initiatives across the organization.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide mentorship for the purpose of developing a continuous talent pipeline for key roles
  • Identify training needs and coordinate with the HC department to ensure facilitation of training requirements
  • Evaluate existing controls and identify gaps – recommend and implement enhancements
  • Responsible for identifying the process enhancements for efficiency and productivity improvements
  • Manual work and partnering with IT and other parts of the organization to enhance/create software and streamline work.
  • Identify potential loop holes and evaluate risks in current environment for Fraud Prevention
  • Support the enhancement and standardization of existing financial reports as per user needs
  • Ensure constant availability of the required competent staff to support the organization in meeting all its responsibilities, plans, and objectives
  • Support the development reports in financial reporting system when required
  • Provide inputs while developing MAF Retail’s corporate policies and relevant procedures, and monitor the implementation
  • Identifying opportunities for design automation to improve efficiency, conduct and manage the reengineering of business processes
  • Identify any bottlenecks in the existing process and recommend solutions for improvement
  • Review procedures and processes as required by management and according to business needs
  • Optimization of structures, processes and systems
  • Automate processes to avoid risks – like Bank Reconciliation
  • Experience is process assessment, business process mapping and improvement with automation feasibility. Document technical designs, release notes and other project documentation to support development, security, operations and maintenance
  • Oversee system analysis, design and development of new automation process as per business requirements in order to enable the efficiency and productivity across the organizations
  • Oversee the development and implementation of on the job-training
  • Communicate effectively across multiple teams/external vendors (Operations, Project teams, Quality service etc) as well as different personnel (Developers, Scrum

Job Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and technical skills
  • Solid understanding of computer programming and software development
  • Capable to Engaging with clients at all levels across the organization both business & technology functions
  • Project management
  • Good presentation
  • Strong communicator and presentation skills

Qualification & Experience:

  • 8+ computer programming and software development
  • MBA is preferred
  • 5+ years in retail business process preferably in finance
  • Bachelor of Finance, Business Administration or Commerce
