As Head of Consumer Insights you will be the eyes, ears and voice of our consumers. You will be responsible for powering our campaigns with deep locally relevant consumer insights so our brand and creative work not only capture the zeitgeist of the region but influences it. In this role you will need to:
Job Responsibilities:
- Leverage research data and information to proactively identify business opportunities and gain internal support to act upon these opportunities
- Identify ideal methodology and provide oversight of research projects
- Be the consumer advocate and bring the consumer perspective to all business discussions, provide actionable insights and recommendations
- Work independently and use your professional judgment to manage the day-to-day details of projects
- Source and manage external agencies for the execution of research projects, focusing on both standard methods and emerging digital technologies
- Anticipate problems that may impede a project from completing on time and implement solutions
- Create the consumer insights strategy, develop and implement a roadmap, and execute and manage individual insights projects from start to finish
- Collaborate closely with the brand and creative teams to create groundbreaking, homegrown work, powered by consumer insights that accelerate noon’s growth
- Mentor and encourage team members to foster a positive work environment
- Participate in and provide regular opportunities to the team for professional development and growth
Job Requirements:
- Proven track record of developing research strategies and leading projects that result in actionable consumer insights that drive business results
- Excellent people and stakeholder management skills
- Strong presentation and story-telling capabilities and an ability to connect with local audiences
- Impeccable attention to detail and highly organized
- Ambition, enthusiasm and innovative thinking
- Strong data-driven analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
- Proficiency in verbal and written English is a must, Arabic is an added advantage
- A consumer-centric mindset
- Ability to work both independently and cooperatively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Strong project management skills with proven ability to deliver results on time and within budget
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant subject or equivalent industry experience.
- Experience working in e-commerce and/or retail is an added advantage
- 10+ years of relevant experience in a similar role
- 3+ years of experience leading and managing consumer insights teams with a successful track record
