Qatar Airways Careers Pilot – Cargo Charters & Leasing Specialist

Job Description:

As our business expands, we are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our Charter Sales Team in Doha as a Cargo Charters & Leasing Specialist
You will be responsible for generating and execution of Charter / Leasing (wet lease in/out) opportunities to assist and meet the needs of Qatar Airways Cargo network. Analyse operational and commercial performance of charters and leased aircrafts by executing measures to meet deadlines and targets, managing accurate analysis of utilization and profitability, and reporting on the same.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensuring high quality standards are maintained in adhoc, long term charter and lease set up by monitoring, reviewing and ensuring processes are adhered to.
• Track current operational and commercial performance of charter/leased aircrafts, by frequent review of plans vs actual and market analysis, to guarantee stable operating network, enhanced profitability and for an excellent customer and supplier relationship.
• Ensure to guide and supervise team on individual processes of best sourcing, research feasibility, relevant costs, market indicators for optimal
• pricing, communication and execution of charter and lease program in line with company’s strategy and revenue optimization goals.
• Contribute to derive strategies for network growth, ensure that the minimum utilization targets are achieved and to further improve profitability of leased aircrafts by implementing plans as a result of actual performance.
• Maintain customer segmentation in line with department and company requirements by using database for enhanced customer management and business development.
• Work as part of Charter / Leasing team and ensure to deliver the team and organization’s goals, in line with the relevant processes and agreed practices, to enhance profitability and network presence.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for the implementation of consistent operational functions for charter / leasing programs and ensure profit maximization

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree with minimum of 5 years of Charter/ Cargo Sales experience
• Clear and in depth knowledge of Air Cargo products
• Awareness of IATA regulations
• Strong decision making and problem solving abilities
• Willingness to work under pressure and with strict deadlines
• Self-starter and can do attitude
• Good analytical, influencing and negotiation skills
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Knowledge of Cargo Market trends and Competitor Awareness
• Advanced MS Office experience.
