Job Description:

This position is focused on QatarEnergy’s JVs within metals (aluminium and steel). The role will contribute to Qatar Energy’s strategic goals to maximize the value generated from Qatar’s resources through its Facilities by reviewing and analyzing performance, identifying opportunities to improve performance, monitoring the execution of improvement plans.

Job Requirements:

• Experience should include exposure to major projects design, and a good knowledge of project execution strategies and multi discipline engineering activities.
• Good understanding of discounted cash flow valuation methods and metrics such as NPV, IRR & financial metrics such as ROCE.

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelors degree required (higher academic qualification preferred) in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering Degree from an internationally recognized university and preferably with chartered engineering status.
• Minimum of 15 years of broad based aluminium or steel experience, in an operational environment, preferably in plant management.
