Job Description:
The purpose of the HRBP role is to work with the Chief HR Officer, the Sector Operations Director and Executive Leadership Team who head up Corporate Support Functions to deliver the divisional people strategy and embed good people management practices, ensuring that the Sector strategy is aligned with the wider Divisional and Group strategies.
As HRBP you will provide HR Leadership of a Sector within the Middle East Division and will act as an advisor, coach and mentor peer groups and sector management /leadership team. You will provide professional HR service to a GBP 100M+ business, supporting a geographically dispersed business covering up to 1000+ employees.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough data analysis including validating ‘total cost to company’ and attrition
- Review and comprehend RFPs to solution effective optimized and competitive people solutions.
- Developing and leading complete Nationalisation solutions to drive increased local talent at effective costs
- Very strong knowledge in various ME geographies with main focus on KSA, UAE and Kuwait
- HR Support as required by the bid team
- Governance Technical and Commercial support from HR perspective
- Understand market competitors and differentiators to allow us to respond to client needs.
- Review and implement talent, succession and strategic workforce plans.
- Works closely with BD Team to ensure new bids in the Sector are planned, coordinated and resourced effectively and is responsible for consolidating and planning the
- HR input for the people solution of new bids
- Leads the implementation of employee engagement initiatives across the Sector.
- Implements programmes for improving engagement throughout the Bidding process, to improve the people related contribution to bidding process. This includes training/mentoring other HR on requirements throughout the Gate process.
- Organisational structure design and transformation support
- OD knowledge for analysing the people issues affecting business performance
- Reviews and interprets the performance of HR service delivery against objectives, strategy and budgetary targets for their Sector.
- Strong generalist HR background (i.e., working with reward, recruitment, OD, L&D and employee/industrial relations)
- Employee upskilling/programme design support.
- Detailed understanding for Reward policies, principles and practices including salary and grading structures and pay position strategies
- Leads the development of people solutions for the Sector to ensure that Serco can deliver highly competitive bids, with the aim to maximise value to the client, to secure enable the growth of the business.
- Support competitive and market aligned reward solutions for bidding opportunities
Qualification & Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years at a senior management level
- Experience leading a team of people
- Client facing experience
