Job Description:

Job Responsibilities:

• Might be having budget responsibilities depending on delegation of responsibilities in section/department.
• Assisting in the development of clinical audit processes within the service and report on these as agreed. Supporting the promotion of audit and research programs on service implementation, in line with national policy, statutory requirements and service requirements within the facility.
• Supervising junior staff and ensuring their abidance to going rules and policies as applied and implemented in the Section/Department/Facility.
• Communicating in a professional and courteous manner with patients, family and other medical personnel as necessary to obtain information for laboratory records, explain procedures, clarify orders and communicate status.
• Assisting in the planning and developing policies that guide the service implementation process.
• Maintaining sufficient inventory of material supplies and equipment for performance of duties.

Job Requirements:

• Proven record of completing projects efficiently and effectively
• Advanced knowledge of oncology, haematology and/or immunology
• A good understanding of cGMP/cGTP standards
• Flow cytometry expertise

Qualification & Experience:

• Immunotherapy experience
• 4 years clinical experience in an accredited clinical laboratory environment of which 2 years’ experience in Stem Cell Processing Laboratory Working knowledge of hematopoietic stem/progenitors, aseptic techniques, product processing and so on.
• Minimum Experience: 4 years
