Job Description:

We’re looking for an experienced copywriter to work on creative and compelling content that tells our tech story. Reporting Into the Head Consumer, Markets and Stakeholder, In this role, you will be responsible for accurately drafting and translating written content across various projects, campaigns, initiatives and announcements across the region.

Job Responsibilities:

• Managing the workflow for translation of talabat communications material. In addition, create original written content in Arabic in all GCC region & Jordanian dialects, while ensuring the tone of the messages is captured in line with our voice.
• Works closely with the communications team to ensure all external facing documents are adequately trans-created to be culturally and linguistically relevant for our external stakeholders.
• Supports continuous efforts establishing and reinforcing our talabat voice with a native fluency which represents the care and respect we aim to convey to our stakeholders.
• Become really knowledgeable about talabat, and translate technical features to simple and inspiring headlines and written content.
• Edit documents translated by outside vendor or other entity to align with talabat Arabic voice and correct transcreation from the English copy.
• Develop, establish and maintain an end-to-end process for intake and delivery of all Arabic translation materials, including those produced by different departments, not just communications.
• Work with the marketing and communications teams to ensure consistency and maintain brand voice integrity.

Job Requirements:

Qualification & Experience:

• BA Degree in Arabic linguistics preferred.
• Formal education in Arabic language.
• 4-5 years at minimum experience in Arabic copywriting / translation and content creation preferably in the tech industry.
