Job Responsibilities:
- ISK is looking for a positive, driven, and inspirational Computer Science teacher to join a very successful and vibrant department.
- Computer Science is taught from Grades 6 to 8 to all students. In Grades 9 and 10 Computer Science is offered as an IGCSE subject option.
- In Grades 11 and 12 Computer Science is offered as a subject option in both the A-Level and International Baccalaureate Diploma pathways.
Job Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Have an excellent understanding of teaching and learning.
- Be highly proficient in the use of technology to support teaching and learning.
- Engage, motivate and support students.
- Be a reflective practitioner with the ability to think creatively and innovate.
- Be a positive and enthusiastic member of staff and have a growth mindset.
- Be willing to be fully involved in extra-curricular activities.
- Have excellent communications skills.
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
- Experience of teaching Computer Science for the IB Diploma.
- Experience of using Google suite, e.g., Google classroom.
- Have a proven record of increasing student outcome.
