UAE Education Jobs – Special Education Teacher

Job Responsibilities:

• Follow up the implementation of individual educational plans for students with disabilities or learning difficulties in accordance with the standards of content and level of performance.
• Evaluation of students in the special education class and taking into account evaluation considerations during exams and exams
• Self-development and professional development in the field of special education.
• Participate in the preparation and implementation of awareness programs for teachers and parents of students with disabilities or learning difficulties at school.
• Preparing and implementing the individual educational plan for each student with disabilities or learning difficulties in the private classroom
• Preparing a daily/weekly educational plan for students with disabilities or learning difficulties according to the individual educational plan and learning outcomes
• Training students with disabilities or learning difficulties on visual and hearing aids and following up on their use of them correctly in coordination with other teachers and parents.
• Providing educational and pedagogical services for students with disabilities and learning difficulties for the number of students and the quorum approved by the
• Ministry in the subjects of Arabic language, mathematics, Islamic education and social studies
• Coordination with the various bodies concerned with disability affairs and others to deal with the problems of students with disabilities in coordination with the Special Education Support Centers.
• Make appropriate modifications and adaptations to the prescribed curricula according to the nature and degree of disability for students of the special class.

Job Requirements:

• The condition of obtaining a teacher’s license within the first two years from the date of commencement
• For Emiratis: Experience is not required for UAE nationals who are graduates of colleges of education
• Fluency in Arabic and English in reading, writing and speaking
• A score of 5.5 on the IELTS test
• Age condition: The candidate’s age should not exceed 55 years when starting work, with the requirement to pass the public health test and test the skills of modern
• means in the academic and technological aspects for those over 45 years old
• Passing the tests and interview (prepared by the institution)
• Computer skills and its applications
• To hold the citizenship of the United Arab Emirates.
• A valid passport with the unified number page.
• To undertake to accept the work in the place determined by the Ministry in accordance with the vacancies.
• The applicant must meet the general conditions for appointment in accordance with the provisions of Federal Decree-Law No. (11) of 2008 regarding human resources in the federal government, and Cabinet Resolution No. (13) of 2012 regarding the executive regulations.
• A copy of the following documents shall be attached to the application submission:
• If you are nominated to teach in the first cycle, you must be 45 years old or under, and you can be 45 or over to teach in the second and third cycle

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education with a grade of very good (without experience for the citizen and at least 3 years of experience for the expatriate in the same field)
• For non-citizens: two years for those holding a teacher’s license and a minimum of 3 years for those without a teacher’s license
