Job Description:

The Exchange and Active Directory Systems Engineers shall be responsible for providing the day-to-day maintenance of the Exchange Servers, O365, Active Directory, and Azure AD environments. The Identity Engineer shall be responsible for inter-forest connection agreements, Certificate Management, MFA, and shall maintain all site Exchange server configurations. The Engineers shall provide Tier II Exchange and Active Directory troubleshooting and problem resolution; maintain email security settings, mailbox management, repair of failed or corrupted exchange servers; and determine proper maintenance intervals and capacity planning and storage requirements. All aspects of AD management including GPO and Intune Policy Mgmt, NSGs, Certificate management, external and internal DNS, DHCP, and general sysadmin for modern Windows Server OS. Backup, Replication, and DR experience desired.

Job Responsibilities:

• All aspects of O365 management.
• Provide services needed according to local and higher Headquarters guidance.
• Conduct Exchange Server and AD management and coordination necessary for implementation actions.
• Perform necessary hands-on maintenance of Exchange and AD assets.
• Trace mail for audits. Manage O365 connectors, DNS and MX records.
• Manage Domain Controllers, such as promote/commission, demote/decommission, AD Sites, IP ranges, authentication management, GPO create/troubleshoot.
• Certificate Administration.
• Teams & PowerBI management including Teams Call Quality troubleshooting and other VOIP experience.
• Database Replication maintenance.
• Provide troubleshooting support for critical Exchange and core AD servers.
• Systems Performance Monitoring.
• Detect, report, and mitigate physical security compromises of any system according to established guidance, policy, and regulation.
• Migrate on-premise mailboxes to O365.
• Group Policy Objects.

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred.
• Microsoft or other industry certifications such as MCSE, MCITP and / or Security Certifications such as Security+ or CISSP preferred.
• ITIL Certification or training beneficial.
• Exchange, Active Directory and Server Installation and Maintenance Experience.
• Specific experience in Exchange 2007 or higher required.
• Prefer experience in engineering Exchange topologies, Active Directory system design, implementation and maintenance.
