This is an intermediate level job. The role is responsible for deploying, managing, creating custom scripts in Production Optimization Software called ForeSite. Performs routine tasks associated with the design, modification, development, writing and implementing software programming applications. Applies standard techniques, procedures and criteria to support and/or install software applications/operating systems. Work is overseen by leader to ensure that tasks are completed in a timely manner. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures. Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software. Resolves routine questions or problems, referring only complex issues to a higher level. All work performed is thoroughly reviewed for application of sound professional judgment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Build Screens, Workflows, Reports to support customer operations and SCADA hardware.
• Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford
• Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
• Participate in software testing during the release cycle as end customer
• Support for 3rd party application roll out based on business need
• Train users in system usage and administration
• Provide customs solutions through scripts.
• Interact with Customers to understand and troubleshoot Product Issues
• Identify cause of problem reported by debugging Program/Scripts and if necessary, correct them or report them to the developers
• Provide support to internal and external clients working on consulting projects which use the company’s optimization software.
• Install, Upgrade and configure SCADA and Production Optimization Systems
• Provide team leadership when multiple deployment team members are involved
• Gain a firm understanding of Production Optimization Products and how it works from the users Perspective.
• Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
• Provide custom solutions, utilities and system integration using scripts along with the procedural documentation and relevant reports
• Help field support/clients with upgrading and configuring the software.

Job Requirements:

• Enhance or make custom changes in existing utilities, batch scheduling
• Work experience with SCADA software and hardware
• Experience in integrating applications
• Ability to plan ahead and organize daily and weekly tasks
• Microsoft Server OS knowledge.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision
• Excellent debugging /knowledge of .Net, C#, SQL, Oracle, HTML5, PowerShell, TypeScript, IIS, and Angular.
• Exposure to Open Source Analytics
• Exposure to Software support
• SQL/ Oracle Server Management Experience
• Knowledge of Web Security, Authentication and Authorization
  ‘Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of Windows programming environment

Qualification & Experience:

• Prefer Windows Server OS administration and support
• Experience in deploying software products for Onshore/Offshore platforms
• Experience in SCADA, Protocols such as MODBUS,OPC
• Experience in CygNet, LOWIS, ForeSite or similar software
• Experience in Oil and Gas Industry – Production Optimization
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web applications
• Experience in Data Analytics, BI
• Experience in BI tools like Tibcos Spotfire
• Experience ETL Techniques and tools
• Experience in BI tools like Tibcos Spotfire and Power BI
• Experience in deploying and debugging Enterprise software in Microsoft Environment.
• Experience in similar role troubleshooting and diagnosing problems with hardware and software
